I am an interior designer working within South West London and Surrey areas. I specialise in making period homes exceptionally comfortable and liveable for couples and families who are time poor, and want a really wonderful place to raise their family, entertain their friends and feel inspired by their home. We work hard to retain interesting existing period features, and layer contemporary ideas to give a cohesive design that looks and feels personal.

​From a single room to an entire house, I work closely with my clients to create a design that feels personal to them. I will take into account my client’s individual aesthetic to give the design meaning and context. Through extensive knowledge of products and suppliers I provide accessible contemporary design solutions that achieve high impact results.
MY STORY
With 25 years experience in the design industry, I started my career working for boutique design consultancies on high-end retail and hospitality projects. It was at Caulder Moore and Terry Moore Design where I created bespoke new concepts for clients such as Hotel Chocolat, including their luxury hotel in St Lucia.
I led the interiors team at award winning architectural practice PRP, specialising in unique and contemporary interior designs for lounges, bars and restaurants in residential developments for older people. I worked closely with ambitious clients wanting to create aspirational, modern living environments for those in their retirement.
Emma Hester Interiors was established in 2019, where I focus on collaborating with clients to create personal designs for their homes, creating individual and stunning interiors.
